Context. At Grupo Bolívar, innovation is driven through dedicated teams focused on exploring new ways technology can improve people’s lives. As a Creative Innovator, I collaborated within a small team to design a new digital product aimed at simplifying investment decisions and helping users define and track financial goals with clarity and confidence.

Problem.

For many people, investing feels distant, complex, and impersonal. They don’t know where to start, how to define their investor profile, or what goals they are working toward. At the same time, any new financial product must earn trust instantly — feeling familiar, intuitive, and aligned with the bank’s existing design language. The challenge was to humanize investing from its core, transforming a cold, abstract system into an experience that felt clear, approachable, and as if it had always been part of people’s financial lives.

Solution.

We created a personalized investment experience that helped users understand their investor profile, set clear goals, and track progress over time. By combining clarity, personalization, and seamless integration with the bank’s ecosystem, investing was transformed from a distant concept into an experience that felt intuitive, motivating, and trustworthy.

By visualizing progress, tracking financial goals, and organizing portfolios clearly, investing becomes easier to understand and more motivating. Social features and light gamification encourage learning and participation, while full integration with the bank’s ecosystem ensures trust, familiarity, and seamless account connectivity from the first interaction.

Impact.

The project concluded with a successful presentation to company leadership, resulting in approval for bank-wide beta testing. During the beta phase, the app drove a 25% increase in downloads and investment profile creation among target users. User engagement demonstrated clear learning and self-discovery around investor identity, while executive alignment enabled the product to move forward into official bank beta release.
